• We, at Karayana, act as a car rental aggregator, connecting customers with trusted vehicle owners to provide self-drive car rental services. By using our platform, both customers and vehicle owners agree to the following declarations:
  
  Service Responsibility:
  
  Karayana provides a platform to facilitate bookings and ensure transparent communication between customers and vehicle owners. We do not own, test, or maintain the vehicles listed; the responsibility for vehicle quality lies with the vehicle owner.
  
  Customer Obligations:
  
  Customers must verify the vehicle's condition during handover and report any issues immediately. Customers are liable for the vehicle's safety and responsible handling during the rental period.
  
  Owner Obligations:
  
  Vehicle owners must ensure their cars are in proper working condition, insured, and meet all legal requirements. Owners are responsible for resolving complaints related to vehicle maintenance.
  
  Refund Policy:
  
  Refunds, including security deposits, are processed as per the agreement between the customer and the owner. Karayana is not liable for disputes regarding refunds.
  
  Limitation of Liability:
  
  Karayana is not responsible for accidents, breakdowns, damages, or losses incurred during the rental period. Any disputes between customers and owners must be resolved directly. Karayana will mediate only if necessary.
  
  Acknowledgment:
  
  By booking or listing through Karayana, all parties acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. This declaration ensures transparency and mutual trust, enabling a seamless and reliable car rental experience for all users.
  
  
• A valid driver’s license and government-issued ID proof are mandatory for the guest themselves to complete the rental process.



• At the time of vehicle handover, the guest is required to pay a refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 or ₹10,000, based on the type of vehicle and the owner's discretion.
  This deposit serves as a safeguard to ensure the vehicle's proper use and safety during the rental period. It will be fully refunded upon the successful completion of the rental terms. Additionally, the guest is responsible for the vehicle's safety and handling, bearing sole liability for any losses or damages that may occur after the handover.



• We offer a choice between a 250 km daily limit or an unlimited km option on all applicable vehicles, ensuring flexibility to match your travel needs.
